Psychiatrist · Children · Adolescents · Adults
I’m a New York City–based psychiatrist, board-certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. I work with children, adolescents, college students, and adults, with psychotherapy forming the foundation of my practice.
My approach is collaborative, curious, and attentive to the whole person. In addition to addressing immediate symptoms, I help patients explore how their emotional lives may be shaped by relationships, developmental experiences, recurring patterns, and the circumstances in which they live. My work draws from psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and developmentally appropriate play-based approaches.
Medication can sometimes be a useful part of treatment, and I approach it carefully, transparently, and in partnership with each patient or family. My goal is to consider medication within the broader context of the person’s needs, preferences, and overall treatment. I commonly work with anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma-related concerns, ADHD, relationship difficulties, and periods of personal, academic, or professional transition.
As a native Spanish speaker, I provide psychotherapy and psychiatric care in both English and Spanish.
